Sherin Creative is the creative partnership of Scotty and Kate Sherin.
While many projects are developed and produced collaboratively, Scotty also undertakes photography and film assignments independently, and Kate supports productions through strategy, logistics, and storytelling development.

Kate Sherin
Kate Sherin is an angler, filmmaker, educator, and conservation advocate based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Passionate about wild fish and the rivers they call home, Kate has built a reputation for connecting people to the outdoors through storytelling, education, and stewardship.
An accomplished fly angler, Kate spends countless days on the water pursuing Atlantic salmon, brook trout, striped bass, and other native species while sharing her experiences through photography, film, and social media. Alongside her husband, Scotty Sherin, she produces outdoor content that highlights not only fishing opportunities but also the people, places, and conservation efforts that sustain them.
Kate is a strong believer in giving back to the sport. She regularly volunteers her time teaching anglers of all ages and experience levels, helping newcomers develop skills in casting, fish handling, river stewardship, and outdoor ethics. Her philosophy is simple: the more people who develop a connection to wild fish and healthy rivers, the more advocates there will be to protect them.
Kate is dedicated to telling authentic stories that go beyond fishing. Her projects explore themes of conservation, community, and the evolving relationship between anglers and the natural world. She seeks to inspire others to contribute their time, energy, and passion toward protecting the places they love.
Whether in front of or behind a camera, on the riverbank, or teaching a new angler their first cast, Kate's work is driven by a deep appreciation for wild places and a commitment to ensuring they remain for future generations.

Conservation & Community
The rivers, coastlines, and wild places that inspire our work do not thrive on their own. They depend on people who care enough to give back.
Conservation has always been an important part of our lives, and we've learned that making a difference doesn't always require a major commitment. Whether it's volunteering a few hours, becoming a member, attending an event, making a donation, or simply learning more about the challenges facing our natural resources, small actions can have a lasting impact.
The rivers and wild places that have given us so much deserve our care in return. We're proud to support organizations working to protect wild fish, restore habitat, and advocate for healthy watersheds.
